Fraser Island is a magnet for visitors and locals alike. Its sheer size as the largest sand island in the world makes this a true natural wonder. The awesome experience of driving along a beach which stretches as far as the eye can see. This tour provides one of the few opportunities to experience the beauty of this World Heritage region.

Travelling north from Brisbane, pass the Glass House Mountains and Sunshine Coast before arriving at Rainbow Beach. From Rainbow Beach, take the 4WD onto the beach to meet the ferry at Inskip Point, where a short Ferry ride will take us to the southern tip of Fraser Island. Head for Seventy Five Mile Beach and find a nice spot to enjoy a fresh picnic lunch. Travelling north up the eastern beach of Fraser Island, head for Eli Creek. Eli Creek is a fast flowing fresh water stream. Take the beautiful board walk to the top of the creek and let yourself relax and float down this picturesque stream.

Next stop is Lake Wabby. Park the 4WD at the start of the 20 min walking track which takes you through lush coastal heath and thick eucalypt forest. This takes you to the deepest lake on Fraser Island, the famous Lake Wabby. The return walk goes through the Hammerstone Sandblow. At the end of the day, travel to Eurong Beach Resort to check into the accommodation and enjoy a buffet dinner in the Resort restaurant.

With an early start for continental breakfast at 7.00am, check out and get out on tour by 8.00am. Head to Central Station to visit Fraser Islands lush subtropical rainforest. Take a fantastic 1 hour walk along the clear flowing waters of Wangoolba Creek and learn about Fraser Islands timber history. Then its off to Lake MacKenzie or Lake Birrabeen (tide dependant), Fraser Island's beautiful crystal clear lakes. There is plenty of time to swim, relax, sunbathe and enjoy a picnic style lunch. After lunch, head through the forest roads back to the Southern end of Fraser Island. Mid afternoon, depart Rainbow Beach back to Brisbane.
